Team
OnPoint got its start in Boston as a development company focused on buying and transforming distressed and deteriorated housing stock within some of Boston’s most promising neighborhoods. Now OnPoint focuses on complex infill development projects throughout New England. Since 2017, its Principals have collectively been involved with over $50 million worth of real estate development.
Garrett Hogan - Co-Founder and Principal
Garrett Hogan is the Co-Founder and Principal of OnPoint. Garrett oversees the development and construction of all OnPoint projects. He is the driving force behind all facets of construction, from initial planning, entitlements and permitting, to leading numerous teams of on-site contractors, ensuring buildings are executed to the highest standards of quality.
In addition to his work on OnPoint’s own development projects, Garrett’s thought leadership in the construction field is the foundation for all OnPoint’s services offerings. He frequently consults with investors and other developers helping them realize the full potential of their assets.
Garrett holds an Unrestricted Construction Supervisors License and Real Estate License in the State of MA, as well as a BA from Quinnipiac University.
Max taylor - Co-Founder and Principal
Max Taylor, Co-Founder and Principal, oversees all aspects of OnPoint. Max specializes in development strategy and underwriting, private capital and debt financing, as well as the acquisitions and dispositions of assets for OnPoint. Max has designed an investment return structure that produces strong returns for investors in OnPoint projects while protecting the downside risks inherent to real estate development.
Max is an active member of Boston based angel investing group, Side Car Angels. Their investment focus is on seed stage companies ranging from emerging technologies to medical device companies.
Max holds a BA in Economics from the University of Vermont.
